Rush Lane Poultry
Cooler/Bators

I'm in the process of putting together a "How To" DVD

on building incubators and how we process our Chickens and lot's more!

When the DVD is finished we will make it available to everybody!

We're trying out a new
Thermostat Guys!

You can buy them 'HERE' from Ebay seller 'SKLIPPER'

Here's One of our
Cooler/Bators in action!

In the videos below, I caught a couple little Bobwhites hatching!

Check it out!

48 Qrt. Coleman & Igloo
 Cooler/Bators

We build this one with a 'modified'

water heater thermostat.

Here's the YouTube Video on the
Water Heater Thermostat Modification
for Steadier Temps...

In the video below, I put together a thermostat install update...

I've had several folks inquire about this subject and

I hope that this helps clear up any confusion...

Temps holding or varying between 99 & 102 degrees "Fahrenheit" and holding between 45 to 60% humidity is acceptable to successfully incubate and hatch almost any fertile/viable chicken or game bird hatching eggs.

This 48 qrt. Coleman has the GQF Sportsman (Back-up) Wafer Thermostat.

This thermostat will hold temp with virtually NO variance at all!

Here's a look at the wiring on the 48 qrt. with the GQF Thermostat.

These Cooler/Bators here are bran-new with new parts installed!

These 'Cooler/Bators' are nothing like those cheesy Styrofoam incubators that you get from the feed store! Our incubators have lasted for years and they are easy to service and clean. After each hatch, they can be cleaned with a disinfectant wipe!

We've posted a short "how-to" video on YouTube showing how we build our Incubators... "Cooler/Bators."

Almost all of the birds here on our farm were hatched from our "Home Made" Incubators just like the ones shown here on this page. They work very well... :)

Below is a "crude" wiring diagram along with a Video of how we wire our cooler incubators.

You can "Right Click" on the pic below and select "Save Picture As" and then save it to your P.C.

so that you can print it out later!

We've heard from lots of good folks!
Some from all parts the world!
These folks have watched our videos
and built their own bators!
Here are some pics that I've received!

.

New friends in Texas sent in theses pics...

They were having temp swing problems... Note the position of the water heater thermostat. It was too far from the bulbs to register the radiant heat! Joseph & Chandra made adjustments to the position of the thermostat; Look at the next photo...

YouTuber 'JbobsFunnyFarm'
built one as a class project!
Here's the vid...
